Audi Car Company

Audi is a renowned German automobile manufacturer that designs, engineers, produces, markets, and distributes luxury vehicles.

The company was founded on May 14, 1889, by August Horch and is headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. Audi is one of the brands under the Volkswagen Group, one of the largest automotive conglomerates in the world.

The name “Audi” is a Latin translation of the founder’s surname “Horch,” which means “listen” in German. Interestingly, “Horch” itself means “listen” in German, so the brand name was derived from the founder’s last name.

Over the years, Audi has established itself as a leading manufacturer of high-quality vehicles known for their performance, innovative technology, and sophisticated design. They produce a wide range of cars, including sedans, SUVs, coupes, convertibles, and sports models.

Audi is also known for its Quattro all-wheel-drive system, which has been a defining feature of many of their models and has contributed to their success in motorsports and on-road performance.

The Audi logo is four interlocked rings, representing the four founding companies of Auto Union, which merged in 1932 to create Audi.

Audi offers a wide range of car models, spanning various segments from compact cars to luxury SUVs and high-performance sports cars.
